Friday Flicks
For the past few months I’ve been playing KEP’s Friday Flicks game. She posts 10 movie quotes and we guess the movie, actor/character, and the theme that ties the ten movies together. She awards points each week and after several rounds declares a winner. I won once and then learned that there is also a PRIZE involved – woohoo! Anyway, for this session she is doing a blog tour for Friday Flicks and I am hosting this week. So welcome fellow Flicks players and everyone who has never seen this game can play along and then check out the point standings and future rounds over at Holding the Mirror Up to My Soul.
Remember you are guessing the movie, the character and/or actor and the THEME. Answers will be posted some time on Saturday. Oh, and this is probably obvious but you can’t use the internet…because it’s lame, and although it might not be an official rule I never read anyone else’s comments when I play.

Theme - real life events turned in to movies?
I need to hang up my movie-quote hat. I can never get any of them. :-(

wow. i got nothing. my only guess is D'artagnan in three musketeers for number 7.
goes to show that years of no movie watching will hurt one's chances of winning this game....
2. Marvin's Room--his mom says it, I can't remember who played her though.

Actually, my guess for #7 is The Man in the Iron Mask, and it was John Malkovich's character--he was the priest.

9. What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Leo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp.
10. The Quick and the Dead?
The theme is Leonardo DiCaprio movies I think.

Once I saw other people's comments, I recognized some of the quotes. Since that's cheating, I've got nothing but an appearance point. I was so hoping to make up for last week! :(

Dang! I love me some Leo, but apparently I haven't seen many of his movies. I wouldn't even have gotten the Leo thing if I hadn't read other people's comments. Pity point, please? Fun game!!
